As they look to the future, following the fruitful ministry of Fr Grigson, the faithful at St Saviour’s Smallthorne are very alive to the needs of their growing village community; they’re thinking and praying seriously about how to respond flexibly to the challenges and opportunities for proclaiming and living the Gospel in north-east Stoke. They’re equally confident that the catholic traditions of the parish give them all the resources they need to grow and flourish. And they’re looking and praying for the priest who will feed and teach and lead them in all that lies ahead. As part of this post, the Deanery of Stoke North look for a mission minded priest in the Catholic tradition to work alongside the Catholic parishes of the Deanery to resource, develop and build upon new and existing mission opportunities and explore new patterns of shared working.
This is an interim post of three years, likely to be extended to five.
